Another significant date for BPS Knives — November 9, 2023. This day, we introduced a collaborative project with Dutch Bushcraft Knives – Bushmate. A knife designed by DBK, crafted by the artisans at BPS Knives. How did it come about?
Last year, DBK conducted an incredible crash test on two of our knives — Adventurer CSHF and BS1FT CSH. Renowned YouTube bloggers from the Netherlands are known for their crash tests, frank but objective assessments of various bushcraft products. Maarten and Mikkie are experts in knives because their experience consists of hundreds of tested knives. So we were happy to give our knives to Maarten and Mikkie to test.
Have you seen it yet? In this way, it seems that no one has used our knives before.😅 But they passed the test!
This was the beginning of fruitful cooperation. Impressed by the quality of BPS Knives, Maarten and Mikkie expressed interest in a partnership, leading to the creation of a joint project. Their experience in rigorously testing knives allowed true bushcraft enthusiasts to see the strengths and weaknesses of many knives, ultimately inspiring the birth of Bushmate.
